Outreach and Awareness
Manotsav Foundation has taken up an initiative in Mumbai for integrated community development focusing on children and adolescents, particularly those deprived and neglected in the society.
Community Support Program
We aim to identify and provide mental health services to vulnerable and at-risk youth to enable them to lead a healthy and productive life.
Our outreach project will target 6 to 18-year-old children who belong to the lower socio-economic strata with most of the parents being daily wage earners. Our emphasis will be on holistic development with them learning daily living skills as well as other skills to aid their moral and personality development. An additional goal of this program is to make them and the primary caregivers aware of the early warning signs of common mental disorders so as to be able to access help if needed.
Major Components of the Project:
- Training Programme
- Provision to support development
- Clinical Care
